"Great care in ED a refreshing experience"

After some not so great experiences in the ED in the past, I was feeling a little uneasy about bringing my toddler in to be seen, even though I knew she was definitely in need of being seen by a doctor, because she was just not right at all. 

Upon arrival the lovely nurses in triage immediately acknowledged me and came to check on my daughter, once triaged we were taken straight through to a bed, we had a lovely nurse Lexi who was so caring and compassionate and in my opinion went above and beyond to make sure both myself and my daughter were comfortable and looked after, including making this very tired Mum a coffee and getting me a sandwich to keep me going, and Dr Ashleigh was so thorough, caring and not once did she try to rush us out the door, it really made for such a positive experience. So to Lexi and Ashleigh thank you so much for giving us the best experience we have had in ED for a long time and for listening to my concerns as a parent who knew their child was not right, you both are wonderful assets to the ED team.
