"Macula Research Group – Clinical Trials Unit"

I would like to share my story and express how appreciative and thankful I am towards the Macular Research Group staff. I was participating in one of their trials and the whole process was very smooth. The staff said that if there is anything I am worried about with my eye, I can ring their mobile at any time.

Unfortunately, I experienced a large black spot in my vision recently and so I called the number straight away. Danijel picked up and told me to come straight to the hospital where they can check my eyes. He met with me and took care of me as I went through the emergency department to see the doctors. I was very grateful that Prof. Samantha spoke with me on the day, and for the study coordinator Thao who called and checked in on me the following day. Although I am no longer participating in the study, my experience with the clinical trials team has been very good and I am very appreciative of the support that I received throughout my time with them.
