"Grateful parents"

About: Perth Children's Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

Dear PCH staff,

I am writing to commend the exceptional staff at the Perth Children's Hospital Emergency Department for the outstanding care they provided to my child during a recent visit.

My child presented with a  fever, vomiting, and diarrhea for over 24 hours, which left him dehydrated. From the moment we arrived, the emergency staff took our concerns very seriously and acted promptly to address the situation.

I would particularly like to express my gratitude towards Nurse Jay, who demonstrated remarkable professionalism and empathy throughout our experience. Her dedication to ensuring the well-being of our child was evident in the way she provided guidance and comfort to us as parents.

The staff at the Perth Children's Hospital Emergency Department went above and beyond to ensure our child's rapid recovery. They skillfully and patiently helped us with oral rehydration, constantly reassuring us that they were prepared to intervene further if necessary.

Currently, our child is slowly recovering at home, and the medical team at the hospital assured us that should we face any difficulties in maintaining proper fluid intake, it is perfectly acceptable to return for further assistance.

I cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for the exceptional care and attention provided by the staff at the Perth Children's Hospital Emergency Department. Their dedication instilled a sense of confidence in us during a challenging time.

Once again, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire team. Such outstanding service and professionalism deserve recognition, reflecting positively on the reputation of Perth Children's Hospital.

Sincerely,

pixie

Just wanted to add that this illness turned out to be salmonella. So glad my child is better now.
