"Iron Infusion delivery"

About: Inglewood Hospital / Acute Ward

(as a carer),

Immersive Reader

Very lethargic and unwell low iron levels needing an infusion.

The iron infusion was delivered in the urgent care ward of the Inglewood and district health service. 2 nurses organised my Infusion that was ordered by local doctor. I felt they were extremely professional explaining in great detail what to expect during infusion and side effects that can happen. Nurse Reece inserted the IV cannula even though my veins were not that easy to find. Nurse Michelle organised my admission and did my observations both before and during my infusion. A great service thankyou Inglewood and district health service.

Hello Brusha,

It is great to hear that you could access care close to home and the care that was provided by the nursing staff was informative, professional and caring.

You feedback has been passed onto the staff and team.

Kind Regards

April
