I had a stent inserted in the LAD of my heart and after the procedure was referred to the cardiac rehab program at Eastern Health Community Centre. I was overwhelmed by the procedure and had difficulty accepting the new found illness. I had lost all confidence and did not want to see anyone but in the end I am very glad to have attended the program. All the stall I saw were very kind, understanding and incredibly supportive not just to me but in my opinion, to every single patient that attended. The exercises were never rushed and the educational sessions were very informative. I am most thankful to Viv (nurse), Wen (nurse) and Alan (physiotherapist), Brian and Regan. I am now in a much better place.
