"Care after pneumonia"

About: Bright Hospital

(as the patient),

I contracted pneumonia and spent a few days in Wangaratta Hospital before being sent to Bright Hospital for a couple of days to complete my recovery (I'm a resident of Bright).

I've been in Bright Hospital once before and on this latest occasion found the level of attention and care to be excellent. In contrast to other hospital experiences, there seem to be sufficient staff to cope with the workload properly, and as a result the experience there is very good and conducive to a positive frame of mind, and probably to earlier recovery. Small things such as the ability of mobile patients to make a cup of tea help both patients and staff. The relatively small size of the hospital may be a factor, nevertheless it is an excellent operation.
