"Radiation treatment for prostate cancer"

I started the first of my 20 radiation treatments at Block DD and finished around a month later.

The whole Block DD staff I dealt with were amazing in the way the were so professional, friendly and compassionate towards all the patients. I was able to observe how the staff treated the patients from the waiting room and like me they felt safe in friendly hands.

I want in particular to thank Milad and his fellow staff members who treated me mostly in Marri and all the other staff who treated me in Tuart, Jarrah and Acacia. They were all so brilliant, I cannot thank them enough for getting me through this 20 treatment journey and making it far more comfortable than I could hoped to imagine. Their sense of humour and chat was good fun.

The regular review with nursing staff and the Jeremy Oncologist team on my progress was excellent.

The waiting room areas were open, bright and clean and seeing all the hospital activity around you helped to distract any anxiety.
