"Physical accessibility"

About: St George Hospital

(as a volunteer/advocate),

On the same day I saw

* a person on a scooter get lost twice on the ramps near the Belgrave entrance - please consider better signage

* a person with a pram having to use the toilet with the door open to keep their baby with them - please consider parent friendly toilet.

Thanks

Dear zulugk55,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your observations whilst visiting at St George Hospital.

Hearing from our patients, visitors, staff, volunteers, and the wider community helps us to identify issues and capture the views and meaningful opportunities to shape our hospital. Our buildings and campus are continually being redeveloped so your feedback on any difficulty experienced is very much appreciated.

Your feedback has been forwarded to Corporate Services who will review the signage around the Belgrave Street entrance to ensure it is current and clear. A review of the signage for our Parent-friendly bathroom facilities will also occur to ensure that their location is obvious to those who require them.

Once again, thank you for providing your feedback - this will assist us in improving the experience of our patients and their visitors.

Best Wishes,

Ange Karooz
