(as the patient),

Greg was dentist and Kelly was chair side,

I’ve had many appointments over my life

but this day's root canal since the nerve wasn’t dead is the most painful thing I’ve ever been through.

I was shaking, sweating and crying but pushed through, even he said he’s not seen someone go through that when needles wouldn’t help.

He was so kind and gentle and put up with me loosing my mind in pain.

The chair side Kelly held my hand and was full of empathy.

I can handle a lot but if it wasn’t for those two today I wouldn’t of lasted, I would of walked and not gone through with it.

Thank you Greg and Kelly for putting up with me.

I am Rachel Strauss, the Director Community and AlIied Health which includes our community dental services and would like to thank you for sharing your experience with us.

It certainly sounds like this was quite a traumatic experience for you and I am sorry that you had to experience this level of pain that could not be abated during the treatment.

It is pleasing to hear that both Greg and Kelle supported you through this by showing empathy, compassion and care.

We do have a dedicated dental team who work hard to provide a high level of care to our community.
