"Respect and care"

About: Ballarat Base Hospital

(as a carer),

My mother has recently been in an interstate hospital and in Ballarat VIC hospital and I must say I believe the treatment is chalk and cheese.

I found that Ballarat hospital nurses and doctors were extremely caring and concerned about my mother, who is in her late 90s. They contact you and talk to you about what is happening if you are unable to visit. I believe they certainly treated her with respect and dignity.

I felt Ballarat treated my mum with respect and care. They explained her treatment to her every step of the way and kept the family informed.
