Been meaning to post this for ages. I've been attending the dressing clinic at Broome Hospital (benign venous ulcer) every couple of days for a while now. As always I'm blown away by the professionalism shown by the seemingly under manned staff and the diligent work ethic. Any visit to BRH of course requires the inevitable RAT test. Well I think you're lucky because that is where you will get to meet the human dynamo Nurse Kirsty. I feel she never stops, she's like an energiser bunny, and her smile and happy bright demeanour shines right through her PPE. In my experience, she chats politely to all and then magically as soon as little tots appear she turns into this gentle magic fairy as she cajoles them into letting her probe their proboscis. Some carers do really care.
Did I forget Sarah, Max and Wendy in the dressing clinic...of course not, they are all just the best, and I feel we're damned lucky to have them.
