"Covid support"

About: WA Health COVID Care at Home

(as a carer),

My spouse has dementia. I’m their sole carer. They tested positive for Covid and I registered their test and registered for in home care. I was really concerned that if I tested positive, my spouse would not have any care, ie no food, dressing, drinks etc.

Anyway, nothing. No call, no SMS, no acknowledgement of their registration as Covid positive.

I felt this was extremely disappointing and stressful.

I tested positive 5 days later. Registered etc. got a SMS to say they were calling me, but I was on a zoom call for work so couldn’t pick up. After that, nothing. No contact, zero.

Guess it’s lucky we didn’t just seemingly die and rot in our apartment because literally no one made contact.
