"Excellent care and service"

About: Narrogin Health Service / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Narrogin Hospital one night with severe pain. Every single aspect of my care was extraordinary. On admission, I was given a bed in the waiting room and brought through immediately as I couldn’t sit or stand. The nurses and doctor asked pertinent questions and helped quickly with the pain. On admission to the ward, all requests made by me to medical, nursing and support staff had been met very quickly and without fuss.

My follow up with Perth specialists was done extremely well. All staff involved in my care were caring, helpful and friendly. The service from staff at Narrogin Hospital was the best that I could ask for. Special thank you to nurses Emma (ED), Maddie, Robyn, Georgie, Anish, Zoe (there are many others), both of the two Dr Peters and the PCA’s, Ronnie, Liz, Faith, Raffy.

The only improvement I would suggest is that the night call system only sound once initially from rooms and then silently after this as no matter how fast nurses respond to bells, I believe the noise is very loud and disruptive to healing sleep (also makes you feel quite guilty disrupting other patients sleep by pressing it).
