I recently turned up to hospital with a pain in my chest, from the start of entering the hospital with the protocols in regard to covid, I knew I felt safe.
The lady at reception rushed me into E/D, I recall the staff were so busy but immediately wired me up, I felt terrible because I believe these people work so hard and so busy all the time but reassured me I did the right thing
I was put into the ward for the day and felt so looked after. I was embarrassed, it was like a five star hotel except for the bed in my opinion 😂 it seemed to me like sleeping on nails but slippery, least of my worries!
The staff were top shelf once again, Ami was looking after me in the wards and I felt nothing was a problem xx kept me comfortable all day. I was a bit stressed for feeling like I was a hypochondriac, but as I recall they say at Marg’s hospital, better safe than sorry.
I found the doctor was more than thorough and top of the chain with his care and response time.
Thanks so much Margaret River hospital, I believe we are so lucky to have such a professional staff and management, every time I’ve been there, and I try not to make it a habit, they have been exceptional.
Based on my experience, please get some new beds. I know it’s not a resort!
But apart from that, champion effort from a small hospital, forgot to add the people in charge of the kitchen kept me comfortable with sandwiches and cups of tea, thank you so much for keeping me fed, I know it’s a hard job as I get so hungry xxx🙏
God bless
