I had complications in my pregnancy that meant I had to be reviewed at the DAU in St George hospital near Maternity south from 28 weeks til I gave birth at 36 weeks. It was an incredibly stressful time for me but the doctors and especially the midwives were so attentive and kind to me. They let me ask any questions I wanted and looked after my baby's health in every way. I special shout out to the midwives during my delivery that made me feel like I was in very safe hands. And an absolute very special thanks to Pauline at Maternity south who had high energy that was infectious, took care of me during DAU and on the ward with my baby girl. She is an absolute gem and I am incredibly thankful that I had the privilege to have met her and have her as my midwife for most of my time at St George hospital.
