About: Broome Health Campus

(as a carer),

I went to Broome hospital, there is no food options for visitors. I also believe no vending machine, no cafe, and no drink options. Being that the Kimberley can be extremely hot. I believe it is also a risk factor that there is no hydration options for visitors. There is no cafes or takeaway options within a km radius of the hospital (not within walking distance I believe).

Dear lyradq79,

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent experience at Broome Hospital.

We have two drinking water fountains near the Emergency Department at Broome Hospital, one outside the main door and the second in the waiting area. These might not have been visible as they are behind a pillar, to make them more visible we shall install signs above them.

We are currently negotiating with a local business about the option of starting a café at the hospital.
