"Maternity care at Kalgoorlie hospital under the care of the midwives"

From the appointments and genuine care we received at the Antental clinic throughout my pregnancy, all the way through to my labour and post care check up two days post partum, the entire experience at the maternity ward in Kal hospital was incredible!

Every single beautiful midwife we encountered were each so amazing! We were cared for and looked after so very well. I’m deeply grateful that we chose to have our baby here instead of going back to Perth.

I’ve had 3 kiddies and this was by far the best birthing experience out of them all. 

Courtney and Judy were with us throughout the entire labour, Courtney even stayed back longer so she could be there for us. They were so calming and supportive and knew exactly what they were doing, we had giggles all along the way and they really did make both myself and my hubby feel so comfortable and cared for.

We also had a lovely midwife called Sarah who also went over and above to ensure we were comfortable and didn’t have to move around from room to room. She discharged us and accommodated us in ways that we are truly grateful for :) 

Two days later we returned for the heel prick and audio testing. We were greeted and seen to by Dee who is such a beautiful lady, she helped me so much with extra fab tips and tricks with breastfeeding. She was so warm and friendly, funny, super experienced but very caring above all.

We also had Annelise do the audio test and she was so lovely, explaining how everything worked and was super thorough, very warm and friendly and made us feel very relaxed.

All in all, the team of amazing women that we had supporting us have been a straight-up blessing and I’m overflowing with so much gratitude for having each of them looking after us.

I believe they are all very heart-centred women who truly care about their patients and enjoy what they do for a living. Kalgoorlie Maternity Hospital is very lucky to have such incredible caring staff.

I will be singing their praises for the rest of my days. :) Thank you Thank you Thank you :)
