(as a relative),

My parent recently suffered a heart attack. They were taken immediately through ED and seen to. It was determined a heart attack very quickly through blood, it was touch and go there for a bit and the nurses and doctors were amazing, giving my parent the best care they could and keeping our family updated.  

My parent spent the night in ICU before being airlifted to Royal Perth by RFDS and the incredible care has continued. It's very scaring when a loved one has a turn like this and also being told that they couldn't do any more for them in Broome.  Even though that was the case, we had full trust in the Broome Hospital that they were doing the best job they could for my parent, to ensure they would be safely transferred to Perth.
