(as a carer),

My spouse was taken to Bunbury Hospital with spinal injuries and shortly after also had to have major bowel surgery. They have to wear a neck brace for 12 weeks. My spouse has been in hospital almost 8 weeks and the care they have received could not have been better in my opinion. From the surgeons to ICU to surgical ward to restorative ward. From all doctors to nurses to PCA's, dieticians, physio's well just everybody, we have felt the love. I feel it is not fair to mention anyone special. Great job Bunbury Hospital.

Dear statuspe83,

Thankyou so much for sharing your experience. What your spouse has gone through with their injuries and illness sounds very tough. I can't begin to imagine the impact spinal injures and major surgery has had for them and for your family. The Bunbury Hospital is a close community of healthcare workers and volunteers who themselves live in our wonderful community.

The care they provide day in and day out is amazing. We don't always get it right, but we constantly strive to. Sharing this lovely feedback will make the day of the carers and support staff on the frontline. Knowing they have made a difference has warmed my heart and I am sure will put a spring in the step of all the teams that make up this wonderful hospital community.
