"My parent had to go into care."

It was a dreadful time for all. Mum had been living in her home with my sister, who took time off from work to care for her. Mum had to go to hospital with renal failure and it was advised that she needed to go into full time care. All my mother wanted was to go home.

After lots of research and searching for the best option, we came across SandBrook. We felt the staff were very professional, caring and kind. Sandbrook at Burleigh Waters was exceptional, in my opinion. Welcoming, clean, spacious with beautiful, inviting grounds. Mum received exceptional care and we were able to take her dog there every day to visit. They both enjoyed their walks around the grounds.

Sadly, mum passed away and once again the staff were very understanding during our grieving period. We had a farewell ceremony for mum in her room to say goodbye.

I was very impressed with the level of professionalism of the staff, and the amount of staff on at any one time.

Both my family and I were very thankful Mum found such a caring place to spend her final days. Thank you.
