"A brilliant resource"

About: Perth Children's Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

The staff that run Kalparrin out of Ronald McDonald House on the ground floor are awesome in my opinion. I felt they were so kind, generous, helpful and compassionate.

Back at PCH they had so much space and were so generously giving out supplies both essential and non-essentials! My child was given a lovely homemade quilt to keep them cosy and a soft bunny close to Easter time, I enjoyed massages and reiki.

I believe it is such a vital support and I hope that the wards promote them and what they have to offer. I believe they are a brilliant resource and I am so grateful to have found them.

Dear Butterfly,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your lovely feedback regarding Kalparrin.

Kalparrin is well known and valued by staff across the hospital for the wonderful support they provide both on and off the ward, and I am glad this has also been your experience.

Kalparrin’s location on the ground floor of PCH, within the Ronald McDonald Family Room, provides a welcoming place for families.

I will be sure to pass on your kind words to Kalparrin. However, if you would like to contact them directly, please do so via email at kalparrinwa@health.wa.gov.au

Kind regards

Jennifer Hille
