Recently I attended SCGH ED for severe back pain and was triaged by a nurse called Deanne. She was very professional and understanding in realising my pain level was quite high. She came out into the waiting area and assured me that she would get something to help and returned very quickly with a wafer for me to take. Deanne was really professional and genuinely concerned and whilst the ED was busy she did an excellent job managing my discomfort amongst many others demanding her attention. Please pass on my thanks.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience of the Emergency Department (ED) at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. It was such a pleasure to read of the attentive and professional care you received whilst attending the ED. I appreciate how daunting the ED can be especially when it is very busy, and was so glad that the support and care you received left you with such positive feelings of our service.

I know too that the staff will be delighted to receive your message of thanks and I will ensure this is passed onto them, in particular to Deanne.
