In 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. A small cancer was detected from my regular mammogram. A month later a lumpectomy was performed followed by 6 weeks of Radiation. A couple of weeks after treatment I began to have significant pain in the breast area which continued to increase in pain. Thinking this was the norm, it was not until about 10 weeks later before I went back to a Radiologist seeking advice. They believed I was having neuropathic pain and commenced me on anti-inflammatory medication with no relief, so then Lyrica (medication) for nerve pain. Still no relief. It was then suggested to try Laser treatment. This was carried out at Collie Hospital under the care of Alison (physio). I have completed 3 sessions with 3-4 to go, and feel grateful I was put in the care of Alison. Her care, understanding and knowledge of information has been 10 out of 10. I believe the pain has reduced from 8/10 to 5-6/10. THANK YOU ALISON FOR BEING THERE FOR ME 💕
