Recently I had cause to access emergency services at Royal Perth Hospital.  From the moment I stepped into the Emergency Department to the time I was discharged from the Transit Louge I experienced exceptional and first rate care from each and every aspect of the service from clerical, nursing, surgical and support staff.

The efficient treatment from the triage nurses who provided me with compassion and went above and beyond in trying to get me comfortable as soon as possible, to the nursing staff in ED who, even though they were busy, took the time to ensure I was as comfortable as possible even though I was in a great deal of pain.

The Medical staff who provided a quick diagnosis and the surgical team who took the time to explain the operation that I was being admitted for and possible scenario's of what to expect after surgery.

Ward 4A who had the most amazing nursing staff who assisted with preparing me for surgery to my post-operative care to in-depth discharge information to prepare me to go home and recover.

Finally the wonderful nursing staff in the Transit Lounge who made sure I was comfortable, provided advice and had everything I needed to go home.
