"Follow up to previous story and specialist care received at Monash Medical Centre"

Further to the experience we had with Monash Medical Centre, which I highlighted on Patient Opinion previously titled “Medical staff wonderful, not so much with admin staff”, I would like to bring you up to date with a more positive experience we had with Monash Medical Centre.  

An appointment was made with Dr Anthony recently for a medical review, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to him for the thorough care and attention received by my husband who was afflicted with eye and mouth paralysis. He was kind, attentive and caring and had time to listen to and answer any questions we had to ask.

He also listened as I explained about the problem I had earlier in July, trying to adhere to the Medical Specialist's request to make a follow-up appointment for my husband in 3 to 4 weeks time, and failing in my attempts to do so I felt I had to bring this matter up on Patient Opinion. He brought this to the attention of Professor Henry who read my praise and criticisms of Monash Medical Centre. Professor Henry was kind and attentive enough to spare some of his valuable time to get in touch with me and apologised for the distress and upset we felt by this situation.

So I would like to thank the Medical Specialists/Professionals at Monash Medical Centre for being understanding and caring and also giving us the best medical attention.
