I was admitted as a public patient for emergency cataract surgery and cannot give high enough praise for the staff at Bentley Health Services Ward 3. I cannot believe how well everything was organized and it worked like clockwork. From booking in with the receptionist to the person who took us up to the ward they were great. The staff on Ward 3 --wow amazing --I was very nervous never having had surgery before and they put my mind at rest explaining everything to me - David the anaesthetist came in and introduced himself --asking if I knew what was going to happen. He was very jovial and explained everything all over again to me and gave me a laugh thus also putting me a bit more at ease. Ruth in theatre was very caring and lovely. I my main nurse was Pam, she was absolutely amazing. There was another helper there and she was also great, but I have no idea of her name. Then there was the guy who wheeled me to theatre and back, what a laugh. He was so very polite and funny. I enjoyed my trip with him I wish I knew his name, unfortunately I don't.
All I can say is what an amazing team there at Bentley and a big big thank you. I am glad I am on the wait list to come back for the other eye I have complete confidence and trust in you guys
