I was recently taken to Armadale Hospital by ambulance with swollen tongue and swollen throat. Told by ambulance staff that it was a life threatening situation.
Received immediate treatment upon reaching the hospital. Nursing staff and admitting doctor on duty late at night were terrific. Spent the night and most of the following day in emergency awaiting admission to MAU (Medical Admissions Unit) which happened later that day.
Received first class nursing care and visits from several doctors in MAU that night and until discharged the following afternoon. Also visited by a Social Worker, which I appreciated.
I would like all nursing staff, auxiliary staff, doctors who attended to me to be recognised by hospital management for the fine helpful professional standards that they displayed when giving me great care.
Thank you.
"Admitted to emergency by ambulance with Angiotensin."
