Recently I had stomach surgery from the surgical team headed by Dr Marina and what a first class operation they did on me. I would like to thank all involved for the care and the way my life will be changed for the better so much, they are definitely unsung heroes.

Tyler in PCU and Renee  who is the stoma nurse at Freo (Fremantle Hospital) also need to be thanked as they made and helped my short stay bearable and informative. I was in Freo three and a half years ago for emergency surgery on my stomach whereby Dr Marina and her colleagues saved my life and me being a paraplegic the staff listened to my requests as I listened to the staff's and we ended up with a great working relationship,who could ask for better. I realise that the sheer volume of patients cannot be kept happy all the time but it's all about give and take, something more of us should do.
