"Negative experience with psychologist"

I have had a greatly negative experience with a psychologist that works here. Despite working with this psychologist for well over a year they abruptly decided to terminate our sessions by email instead of telling me face-to-face. They originally promised that we would be continuing sessions into the new year. Additionally, instead of helping me transition into finding a new psychologist, they simply left me in the dark regarding support services. I never expected to be lied to and deceived by a psychologist. I also feel like everything we worked on was for nothing. This has greatly affected my mental health in a negative way. It has also impacted the respect I had for the psychologist previously and my trust in psychologists in general. I highly recommend that you go elsewhere for support services.
