(as a carer),

My sister was undernourished and very unsteady on her feet. The Day Therapy Unit Team at Geraldton Regional Hospital were remarkably efficient at assessing the situation and providing excellent solutions. Every team member we met or spoke to was up-to-date on the situation, understanding, diplomatic, intuitive - the best healthcare team I have encountered (I was a registered nurse for many years so do have experience in the health care system).

The purpose of the Day Therapy Unit is to empower community based clients to improve and maintain independence, confidence and their ability to perform everyday tasks.
