My relative and I arrived at Box Hill Hospital's Emergency Department where we were met with very courteous staff. With his injury, the staff "fast tracked" our case and we were sent for x-ray within 30 minutes. Once the x-ray was completed, a great team of doctors explained to us the injury and how it can be treated. The entire process from admission to discharge did not even last 1. 5 hours (an exceptional turnaround time). We were expecting to wait at the emergency department for at least several hours.

I shared this story with an ex-executive of Eastern Health who recommended that I share my experience on this forum. Thank you to Box Hill Emergency Department Staff for their great efforts. Since my recent experience, I have been recommending Box Hill Hospital to all family and friends.
