My child had a knee injury and the emergency unit said it would go away however after a week it hadn't. My child still couldn't put their foot down on floor and was still in a lot of pain. We came back to hospital and was told to wait until February for an outpatients appointment. I requested if anything was cancelled or if there were any slim chance to review this decision cause they were still in pain and not able to put the leg straight and someone name Melissa, I think, spoke to me and although she did not promise anything she said she would try. Within a day we had the appointment at outpatients clinic and one week later my child had the operation. Thank you to the officer and a big thank you also to doctors and nurses dealing with us, who were amazing, caring and genuine. Thanks.
"Thank you to all who helped at Ipswich Hospital."
