As I was going to be taken to the Geelong Hospital it was going to take over 30 minutes to be transported from my location to the hospital. My concerns are a need for an ambulance station to be put in McCurdy Road next to the Geelong West Fire Station. This would make life so much easier for the paramedics and ambulance to attend to patients in and around Herne Hill and outer Geelong as Geelong is growing as health problems are rising and accidents that happen at a split notice and the elderly who can not get to hospital. Our future of the the ambulance service is at a great need to this area for a long time.
When I was taken into the A&E I found that the problem I was in there for was diarrohea and throwing up. I spoke to a nurse first who poked and examined me. No profound tests were done to find out if anything was serious. I only got an x-ray done and a tablet put under my tongue to stop me from throwing up. Not good enough on the way things should have been done. A gastric scope and colonoscopy should have been done and I should have been admitted for further tests. Don't know why this has happened this way.
"Need for ambulance station, as well as my Emergency stay."
