My pop was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer recently and was moved from Ballarat Base Hospital into the Gandarra Palliative Care Unit. The care he was provided by the staff in the Gandarra Wing in his last days of his life was amazing.
I cannot thank the staff enough for making the last few days peaceful for both pop, his daughters, son-in-laws and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
This was a very sad period for the family and they made it bearable with the respectful and thoughtful way they looked after pop.
