(as a parent/guardian),

My son was in ED for tummy pain which ended up being an inflamed appendix. Karl provided excellent care to him and took the time to explain what was happening to my son and me, answering all of our questions and making us feel calm and reassured.

Dear Son in ED,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us. It can be a very upsetting time for parents when you have a child in pain, so it is wonderful to hear that the care provided and information given was excellent. I hope your son is now on the mend and I will pass this information on to the Doctor Karl.
