"Great care I received at Box Hill Hospital Emergency department."

I presented to Box Hill Hospital ED recently one Saturday evening with severe lower back pain despite taking analgesia at home. I was triaged promptly and walked straight to a bed inside. Everyone I met was very friendly and actioned pain relief promptly. It wasn't long before I saw a doctor and scan were ordered. I was moved to the short stay unit in the mean time to wait for the CT scan and report. In the end I was transferred to Epworth Richmond for ongoing care.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in emergency and short stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff are very friendly. I hope to not return but if needed be very happy to be treated at Box Hill again.
