"Positive feedback to maternity at The Angliss"

I gave birth for the first time early this year at The Angliss Hospital and I cannot speak more highly of the midwives, doctors, ward supports, theatre techs and admin staff at this hospital.

Throughout my journey I felt well cared for and safe which I felt was most important.

After labouring all day drug free with the support of my husband and close monitoring from my midwife, when it finally came time to deliver I required forceps as my baby's heart rate dropped and it all became quite urgent to deliver. I then had to go to theatre for stitches and blood loss. The attending registrar was amazing and took control of the situation so professionally and calmly. I felt I was in very good hands. My midwife was also so calm and professional and looked after me every step of the way including staying back that evening.

The care on the ward was fabulous and I feel very thankful for everyone's hard work and wonderful care.
