"Child Health Nurses are an invaluable resource."

I would like to acknowledge how fantastically supportive Georgina, the child health nurse at the Shenton Street Clinic is. Three weeks ago, my baby had the 4 month check with Georgina. Georgina was bright, bubbly, positive and full of compliments for my baby. She made encouraging and supportive comments towards my partner and I about how well we are caring for our baby which is refreshing to hear as we are first time parents. She noted an issue with my baby's weight gain but stayed calm while informing us that we'd need to book a doctor's appointment and report back to the clinic for regular weight checks. I had an issue with my baby 2 days after my appointment. I immediately tried to book an emergency appointment with Georgina. Although she was fully booked for the day, she phoned me as soon as she had a break and we had a 15 minute consult over the phone. Georgina is approachable, calm, positive and an invaluable resource to all Geraldton mothers who take their children to see her.
