"Stopping drug use"

About: Kids in Focus – Family Drug Support – Gold Coast (Lives Lived Well)

(as a service user),

I stopped using drugs and found that I had no life skills to cope with being a single mum. Jo from Lives Lived Well helped me see my value as a mum and then over the years see my value as a person. She listened when I complained about how hard and unfair life was. She held me as I sobbed my heart out, and she never once judged me.

Sometimes I wonder if I hadn't had her support if my little family would have made it.
