"Young Family Support - Feedback"

About: Young Family Support Program – Gold Coast (Lives Lived Well)

(as a volunteer/advocate),

In the recent times our legal service has been working with Claire. She had been very supportive to our clients who were and are going through court process facing criminal charges. Our clients needed special care due to their alcohol and drug problems, but more to address their underlying issues such such as family problems, financial difficulties and homelessness. These clients were and are in vulnerable situations and that's why they require special care. Claire was great in providing one on one care and has the personality, passion and people skills to assist our clients, and is working towards facilitating to guide them away from criminal justice system. This is an extremely important service and our clients need it very much to move on their lives. I, on behalf of the Southport ATSILS team, thank Claire and her team for all the support.

Legal Service,

I greatly appreciate your feedback and support for Claire. I was just this week talking with her about a family she is working with and I totally agree - she works to support and motivate clients in very difficult circumstances. Good alcohol and drug intervention is a "wrap around" service which looks after so many aspects of the person's life and is not an easy job to do - so hearing your support for her will go a long way.

Many thanks

Brian
