My time spent doing my student placement with Drug ARM Warradale has been a fantastic experience and has changed my world view in a significant way. It has helped me to practice and hone in my counselling skills, as well as provide me with the opportunity to develop other skills and build my confidence. I would recommend volunteering at Drug ARM Warradale to others who may be interested in counselling, social work, giving something back to the community or learning more about harm minimisation regarding drugs and alcohol use.
