About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Breastfeeding Centre of WA

(as the patient),

I had a meeting with a lactation consultant from King Edward Memorial Hospital - Breast-feeding clinic. The LC that saw me was absolutely fantastic. Changed her schedule in order to fit me in (country person with limited time in the city); was extremely thorough and helpful; made me feel reassured, heard and comfortable throughout the meeting; went through everything and never felt rushed.

She followed up with a phone call and a Tele health appointment over the following weeks and was again - friendly, patient, clear, understanding and helpful. 

Based on my experience, I would highly recommend the KEMH breast-feeding clinic team to any breastfeeding mum.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story. It sounds like you had a wonderful experience with the Breastfeeding Centre at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH). I am so pleased to hear that they were able to arrange an appointment for you while you were in Perth, and it must have been so reassuring to continue receiving their support after you arrived back home.

Our Lactation Consultants demonstrate such kindness, caring, and expertise while supporting women in their breastfeeding journey, and I will be sure that your very kind feedback is passed on to the team.
