About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / 2 West & Hand Clinic

(as the patient),

Attended Sydney hospital  ED with dog bite hand injury . 

Reviewed in hand clinic the following day and was admitted for surgery . 

Post op stayed on ward 2 W for 3 days . 

At all stages , nursing , medical and physio staff were all kind , caring and professional . 

The hand clinic was extremely busy and although waiting times may be longer than people expect , it has to be remembered that this is a specialist hospital and all injuries have to be triaged and assessed. Theatre times may be delayed due to  acute emergencies . 

I was extremely impressed with the system and only wish to thank the staff at Sydney Hospital
