"Care at Bunbury Hospital"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

Overall the staff were amazing and supportive after a challenging delivery and our baby requiring support in the special care nursery for 2 nights following. I cannot praise the special care nursery staff who were working enough for the care of our baby, support emotionally and physically through this time and empathy. I also want to thank Jenna (afternoon shift) and Louisa (night shift) during my stay on the ward for their support with some early breast feeding challenges, empathy provided and in developing a clear plan in terms of providing education and care over this period.

Dear hoteirrd46,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with the Birthing and Special care nursery team at Bunbury hospital. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to have your bub admitted to the nursery for a couple of days. I am please that the team was able to provide you with the physically and emotional support and compassion that you needed during this time.

I will happily pass on your kind words to Jenna and Louise. I know they will be grateful and humbled by your recognition of their care.

I hope that you are all settling into home and you and your family are doing well. Thank you again for taking the time to share your story with us.

Kind regards

Katrina
