Being a first time mum finding out I was pregnant I had no idea what steps to take next, I was advised to reach out to MGP when I first found out, and I am so glad I did.
My pregnancy was quite a challenging one (PROM at 28+6), but I had the wonderful support of Priscilla and my secondary midwife, Jo, throughout the entire journey. Even when I was rushed to King Edward’s and couldn’t see them face-to-face, Priscilla stayed in contact with me the whole time until I was transferred back to Bunbury under MGP’s care.
I cannot fault the service I received during my time at king Edward’s Perth either, they were fantastic, understanding and always very helpful.
I gave birth at 37 weeks through induction, and it was an incredibly positive experience for my first baby. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—my midwife already knew my birth plan and put everything into action seamlessly.
One of the things I appreciated most was the home visits after birth, which continued until my baby was four weeks old. Throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, Priscilla was an incredible support—always there to listen without judgment and advocate for me 100%.
I truly can’t thank the MGP team enough. If I decide to have another baby in the future, I will absolutely be using this program again!
