(as a relative),

My wife and I had a long and stressful labour at St George Public hopsital, but the staff in the birthing unit from arrival to birth were amazing and went above and beyond. When it was advised that we would need a caesarean, the team involved in the operation were caring, professional and provided great support and communication to all members of the family.

Post birth the staff on the maternity ward were also fantastic and truly compassionate, combining outstanding care with support for new mothers and families finding their feet.

The whole experience and seamless transition between teams and departments made a difficult birthing experience a lot more manageable and less stressful.

In particular we would like to callout Peyton (birth unit), Kusam  (obstretrician), Madison (maternity ward), Sarah  (maternity ward) who all especially stood out for their incredible support.
